Just as different patients heal at different rates and make
different scars, so do some patients heal around their surgery
more than others. In a few patients this increased healing of
the circular "scar" at the "new stomach" outlet may result in
the outlet narrowing down (Stenosis). This can usually
managed fairly easily by endoscopic dilation within the first
three months after surgery. Surgical correction of the
problems is rarely required.

Can the outlet narrow down and cause vomiting?
