For the first six weeks you will need to limit your exercise
program in order for the incision to heal. We suggest that you
try to walk as rapidly as possible for 30 minutes twice a day. We
encourage increased exercise has healed to help tone muscles,
and improve heart and lung functioning, and burn calories.
Walking, riding an exercise bike, and swimming are the best
means of achieving these goals. Sex can be attempted as soon
as the initial discomfort from the operation subsides.
